Sogang University (SU; Korean: 서강대학교) is a private Jesuit research university in Mapo, Seoul, South Korea. Sogang University was established on April 18, 1960 by the Society of Jesus, with the school being the oldest and only Jesuit institution of higher education in the country. It is widely regarded as one of South Korea's most prestigious universities.
